Dr. Whitney Moore, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Dr. Whitney L. Moore provides psychiatric and substance use services at RHS to all ages. Whitney is a Doctoral prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed through the Idaho Board of Nursing (IBN).
Whitney began working at RHS in May of 2021, beginning her practice as a Nurse Practitioner. She attended Idaho State University (ISU) for her graduate and undergraduate education. Graduating with a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Whitney’s background as a Registered Nurse included working for the Department of Health and Welfare (DHW) assisting with inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Whitney believes in the importance of comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and tailoring evidence based treatment plans to an individual’s specific needs. Whitney’s philosophy of practice includes providing the highest quality of care with an interprofessional approach targeted towards optimal outcomes in all aspects of a patient’s life.
