I always knew at a young age that I wanted to help and take care of people. I worked as a caregiver and a MedTech for 21 years. During my time as a caregiver, I worked with a variety of different residents in care facilities for mental health, home health, hospice, assisted living, and memory care. It was very hard and rewarding all at the same time, and I treasured and loved every minute of it. I’m very thankful and blessed for all the lives I have crossed paths with during my caregiving journey.
I decided to go back to school after my children were older to advance in my career path. I have always wanted to be a nurse. I found Eagle Gate College and decided that the Medical Assistant Program was the right fit for me.
I started working at RHS after I completed my externship and graduated from Eagle Gate College in February 2022. During my externship, I truly enjoyed the patients and working with the providers, clinical staff, and clerical staff. Also, seeing how much RHS has grown over the years, I knew that I would love working here. RHS cares about patient care and quality of life. I hope that I can help patients feel more comfortable knowing that they are getting the help and care that they need and have a wonderful experience.
