Anna Kuiz-Shackelford

ANP-RC, FPN-C

Anna is originally from Arizona.  She is Board Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner and as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in health care by working as a nurse assistant in a long-term care facility in Mesa, Arizona, when she was 17 years old. Since that time, driven by her passion to care for others, she went on to further her education by obtaining Associates of Applied Science Degree as a Registered Nurse from Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona.

She relocated to Eastern Idaho in December 1997 and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Idaho State University in 2007.  She completed her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult Health Care Nurse Practitioner in 2012 through South University in Savannah, Georgia.  She returned to obtain her post graduate certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014.  During her 27 years of practicing as a Registered Nurse she has practiced in many different areas of nursing, with over 15 years working in the Emergency Department.

Anna enjoys working with her patients and family members helping them to achieve physical and mental health wellness.  

In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, working on her yard, crocheting, cooking, and most recently, working with her husband and daughter on restoring their 1969 Roadrunner.
